Wellbeing groups (also known as psycho-education groups) offer health-education, support, self-help and skill building. The groups enable people to build upon their own strengths, resources and coping skills and contribute to their own health and wellness on a long-term basis.
We support people of all ages to learn new skills, improve their health and wellbeing, find or maintain employment and develop the confidence to achieve their goals and transform their lives.
All of our wellbeing groups are delivered by qualified and experienced counsellors.
We also offer a bespoke solution in which duration, content, and emphasis can be specifically designed to fit the requirements of the commissioner.
At the moment, places are allocated via referral and commissioned by GP's, human resource managers, staff wellbeing officers and employers wishing to support the emotional health of their staff.
Our wellbeing groups are also of interest to GP Commissioners including practice based commissioning consortia responsible for commissioning low intensity psychological interventions. Commissioners will also find it of interest to read our Information for Commissioners page.
If you would like to commission a wellbeing group or require further information please telephone our Wolverhampton counselling and wellbeing centre on: 01902 827808. Alternatively fill out our online contact form.
We are open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 8:00pm and Saturday 8:30am to 6:00pm.
