We have been awarded funding from the Big Lottery Fund to make counselling more accessible to the people of Wolverhampton. The grant comes from the Lottery's Awards for All programme which aims to help improve local communities and the lives of people most in need.
The Lottery funding has enabled us to provide part subsidized counselling to people on benefits such as income support, carers allowance and pension credit. The part subsidized sessions are open to people living in the Wolverhampton postcodes of WV1 to WV11.
Teresa Lewis, Founder and Director, told us, "The recession has caused many people to lose their jobs and has caused stress within a lot of households. We hope that by offering reduced fee sessions that we can make counselling more accessible to the people of Wolverhampton and increase the wellbeing of the local community".

New extended opening hours
We now offer more appointments outside of normal working hours making it easier to access our services.
Our Wolverhampton centre is now open on Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 8:00pm and on Saturday from 8:30am to 6:00pm.
New text reminder service
We now have a text appointment reminder service, which can send you a text the day before your appointment to remind you of the time.
We are recruiting more counselling staff
With ongoing expansion plans and extended opening hours Lewis Psychology CIC need to recruit high calibre professions to join its team of experts. Current job vacancies are detailed on the jobs section of our website.
