Lewis Psychology CIC is an award winning social enterprise founded by Teresa and Paul Lewis. As social entrepreneurs Teresa and Paul mix business skills with a deep concern for social and economic issues. They are joined by a team of local experts that share the same drive for excellence and professionalism while improving the quality of life for the local community and society at large.
Teresa Lewis, Director
Teresa Lewis is accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and registered with the United Kingdom Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (UKRCP). During her 17 years of active clinical practice Teresa has completed over 10,000 therapy sessions and has successfully dealt with a wide range of issues from anger management to health anxiety. Teresa holds a Masters degree in counselling and psychotherapy and has completed seven years of clinical training in the United Kingdom. As a recognised expert in her field Teresa is frequently asked to review and endorse counselling and psychotherapy books for international publishing houses.
Teresa is a founding member of the BACP's coaching division and registered member of the Association for Coaching. Teresa is passionate about leadership and uses her Masters degree in psychotherapy and qualifications in both training and coaching to deliver her own brand of coaching, which is grounded in established theories of adult learning, cognitive behavioural coaching, solution focussed coaching and positive psychology. She brings a powerful combination of business experience and psychological insight to help clients achieve transformational change.
Teresa is an award winning social entrepreneur and business leader. Being able to use my business experience to co-found an ethical company is extremely rewarding. I firmly believe that social entrepreneurship can be a driver for regeneration and change at a local and national level".
Paul Lewis, Director
Paul Lewis has extensive experience in the field of business development, sales, marketing and management, which proves invaluable in maintaining the companies high standard of services. Prior to being Director of Lewis Psychology CIC Paul founded and headed a niche psychology company and established a worldwide customer base. Paul brings much expertise to Lewis Psychology CIC and draws on his extensive business portfolio to add a commercial edge to the company. Paul has active involvement in the development and delivery of services from conception to evaluation.
Paul is an award winning social entrepreneur and business leader. He says: "I use my commercial experience to develop business opportunities that enable us to grow and magnify our social impact. I'm proud to be co-founder of a well-respected business that has ethical principles at its core".
